people keep recommending people Tool (lateralus particularly), so I'm giving it another listen in an attempt to like it more. I always did like it, just not fanatic about it, and I'm liking it now, just not what I'd recommend tripping to...it's definitely got it's good qualities though

It's all about the patterns. It is very cerebral music. I require stuff with complex patterns like that to trip to.

I generally prefer music heavily influenced by psychedelics, that draws out patterns with energy myself (I hear very visually), but this just never really struck me as terribly psychedelic...I'm getting into right now more than I have before though...I do like it

Also, I'm really huge on lyrics, and Tool's lyrics never really did it for me, although this album definitely has better lyrics than the previous stuff (but I friggin love the song Aenima)... how is 10,000 days? it's been a long time since I've heard it

some of their instrumental aspects impress me, but it's a little lacking in the color department. Not hating on it though, I do like it. I just listened to the song Aenima again and was quite impressed by some of the stuff going on

My good friends at my hosue staying the night and playing call of duty 1v1. I just unlocked the red tiger camo for the R700! Fucking love that :sniper:


I'm pretty stoned too so I'm no longer playing for the time being,can't play for shit when I smoke.

I don't know what the fuck to do today! I might go race my r/c truck at an offroad race in the afternoon. I just gave it an engine tuning and changed my transmission timings. It fliesss now but doesn't do wheelies anymore which is good but bad :P . I can do stoppies though since I also replaced the break pads :laugh:

mistermuscaria check out this album, its one of my VERY favorites, one of my absolute fav tripping albums as well...you speak of patterns, check this out while tripping

for the longest time I only listened to the first 2 songs over and over, but when I finally really listened to the whole thing I was SO glad I did. Obviously the first 2 songs are favorites (Akbar's Jewels and esp. "Almora"), but there's some really great stuff on here, like "Universal Magic", "Dreams Forever", "Indrasabha",and "Dancing Peacocks" is simply really good vibes...the whole album is filled with goodness though :heart:

I know plenty of middle aged people who listen to that kinda music.

It's just not my bag.

I like cerebral instrumental stuff usually. Jazz, acid jazz, chill, jazz/rock fusion and world music mainly.
