Does your roommates have kids? They could have dropped a toy inside. Heard about it before.

Or maybe u live with women? If they dropped a large tampoon or even lots of paper towels, that could also clog it real good.

If you cant budge the toilet snake, you might need to get a powered one to push everything caught inside the toilet.

Apparently, The Home Depot has Power Drain Cleaner Rentals, but you might be in Canada, so not sure if it will work for you.

Im afraid if its too stuck, and u cant find a powered drain cleaner, u will have to call an expert who has a powered one.

Good luck

For paper or waste clogs: pour in baking soda and then vinegar. Half cup baking soda, cup of vinegar. It will break up anything down there. Just don't if the toilet is close to overflowing. It will bubble up over the rim.

It won't work on tampons because of how the cotton is bound but there is no tampon I know of that doesn't fit down the pipes so if a tampon is the culprit it's because it got stuck on something else down there. Or not enough pressure is getting to it to push it through. Which again shouldn't happen if you don't have smaller clogs farther up.

Regularly cleaning your pipes can prevent this shit most often.

What was harder: giving this important thread closure or unclogging the pipes?

You didn't divulge who dropped the dismal dookie...
