My roomate once pissed in my closet on my clean clothes... I left the piss soaked jeans on his pillow with a death threat... then i pissed in his milk and later laughed as he drank it. This problem is a tough one the law won't help but if you beat him he may get them envolved. You can bet the money is gone sry to hear about this that fkn blows :frown: no more roomates for me

Who else would steal your $950? If you honestly think that someone else was able to get into your apartment while you were there and take $950 out of your wallet without you noticing, then you must be a really heavy sleeper, or a poor watcher over your own things.

Or, if you weren't at your place when it was stolen, why didn't you have your wallet with you?

I keep mine with me at all times. When it's not in my pocket, it's right next to my bed when I'm sleeping. No one can take money from me without killing me first...and I never have a lot of money on me, so it's never worth it, unless its the lowliest of scumbags stealing from me.

Hope you find/get your money back!

I would question him and look at how he replies.. If his pupils dilate when staring at you he is lying. If he looks away, scratches his head, neck, or back of the ear he is showing discomfort and trying to deceive you.

Try to get him to sit down when you're questioning him, this will allow you to see if he is giving other tells away.

Look for his hands, see if they are on his knees this usually means they are done talking and want to leave asap. Any movements with his feet, just watch his posture.

Stealing is the one thing that pisses me off. I've lost $100 before and I didn't really care, but once I'm pretty sure I had a $20 stolen from me and it drove me nuts!  If someone ever stole that much money from me, I'd try to steal it back, and then steal some of their money and light it on fire.
