I cook, clean and shop for the majority. I dont mind cooking and I usually make extra food so I dont mind, my room mates cooking sucks, I wouldn`t eat it if they offered. When I go to the store, I buy things I dont eat for my roomies out of my pocket, so they have something to eat. They get their own toiletries, but they do always ask for T.P., but this little freak retarded cat keeps killing the T.P. all over the house.

One room-mate cleans some when she has time, but the other does not. I tell that fool just to clean the bathroom No one uses but them and guests, but the fooker doesn`t lift a finger(too tired) blah

Sometimes we go out and somebody else pays, to pay me back for shit. but sometimes I pay if someone is broke. Meh, they dont start drama or bullshit so its good, and their jobs provide perks I can use, like free sandwiches and other goods and services depending on what they`re doing.

I once lived with 5 other women in a 3 bedroom house. It went fairly smoothly. There was a general fund for tp and such. Everyone had their own shelf in fridge and cupboards.

We'd try once a month for a home night where we'd eat a meal together and hang out. Was a pretty cool time in my life.

Sounds like alot of it is cultural differences. If he grew up very poor I can see the trashbag thing. Just ignore it. And since he does buy you food when he buys it, just go ahead and buy him some too. Just make it something you might like and can reheat later in case he doesn't want it.

I went to kansas city this weekend and got back here about 3 hours ago and I kept hearing my cats meow, but I just thought it was because I hadn't been home... well, as a soon as I got back into town, I had to get ready to go to a friend's going away lunch, and as I was getting ready I kept hearing his chihuahuas periodically growling and barking. I didn't really have time to investigate b/c I was in a hurry.

So I just got back home literally 10 minutes ago and I walk in and I hear the chihuahaus growling again. and he's just sitting there looking at his new speakers he bought and I'm like "why have the dogs been growling like that?" and he's like "I don't know they've been doing it all weekend" so I go into to the kitchen to put up my leftovers and I see one of my cats jump into the dog pin and go towards the the dogs' food and water, and of course the dogs start growling and whatnot... so I'm like "why are cats wanting to eat dog food?" cuz you know cats don't like to eat dog food, even if they're like starving. or at least my cats anyway. so I go down to the basement and sure enough they have a full thing of food (I use one of those drop down feeders) so I'm like "what the fuck?" then I think to check their waterdish... so I come back upstairs and their waterdish is no where to be found. So I ask him where the cats' waterdish is and he's like "oh, i accidentally kicked it over the other night and I noticed it was dirty so I put it to wash" so I'm like "in the dishwasher with people dishes???" and he's like "no I haven't even washed it yet it's in the sink" and I was like "ok, but how were the cats supposed to get water?" and he was like "oh i just figured they could share with the dogs" and I was like "well that's why the dogs have been growling all weekend, they think the cats are trying to get their food!!" then I just walked away and dug the dish out from the dirty dishes and cleaned it and put down fresh water. THEN I noticed like 6 bottles of water were gone from the fridge and I asked where they went and he was like "well, I know how you like to give the cats bottled water, so I have been filling the chihuahua's bowl with it since I thought the cats were drinking out of it."

GOD I'M SO FUCKING PISSED. And I just know he's gonna be whiney and act like I'm the bad guy for being pissed when he thought he was doing me a favor by THINKING to wash to cats' dish. I mean, he didn't even actually wash it, he just threw it in the sink. and don't even get me started on the bottled water. yeah, a few times I didn't drink a whole bottle and it sat out all night in my living room or bed stand I'll dump it into the cat's dish, but I don't exclusively give them bottled water.

I can afford to live well on my own, in fact it probably costs the same if not more to live here than alone in an apt.

yeah I came home today to discover he had a party where they drank all my beer (expensive beer too- Stella and Sam Adams - we live in oklahoma, so in order to get beer stronger than 3.2% alcohol you have to buy it from the liquor store) and a huge bottle of rum.

man WTF.

I have two apartments narrowed down.

I'm debating if I want to pay an extra $150/month to live in probably the nicest apt complex in town with a garage or get a bigger apt with no garage that costs less, but is still a REALLY nice place.

my old room mate of freshman year came in one morning (i was coming down from a trip) at 2am. he looks at me (he's with a girl, i'm sitting on the bottom bunk w/ headphones (he sleeps on the top bunk)). he proceeds to go up to the top bunk with this girl, and then he just starts having loud and violent sex.

keep in mind my 3rd roomate is sleeping 10 feet away. he wakes up. i leave. and that is my story.

fuckin weird. who does that? haha
