Did anybody else get tricked into DLing AIM 6.9.15.1

I certainly did
and i had dead aim installed and now that i got a new version of aim all of the ad space is back
does anybody know if the old dead aim 4.5 works on the new version of aim?

FUCK AIM

Try a third party IM client...I personally use pidgin and there are several others you could try.  Pidgin is great, has no ads and works with a ton of other services like msn, yahoo, gchat and a bucnh of others I have never used...I think even facebook and myspace.  good luck.

Aim sucks.

I saw AIM recently and it just looked so gaudy, busy and unnecessary.

AIM is useless.

yo coaster google aim ad removal hack. aim is pretty nice now that they pretty much added every feature deadaim gave :P and no, you cant use dead aim with the new aim! but check out the ad removal tool its pretty sick

Go to options -
go to the buddy list tab and uncheck "show buddy details on rollover in buddy list"
