I find that the finch seed tek. Is a late bloomer. I have used it a few times and it is reallllllyyyyy slow compared to my own recipe. just give it a little time. when i use it it takes around 1-2 weeks for pinning.

It's been awhile I know....if you'd like, try organically grown rye. It's easy and works great. Full colonization of B+ in 10 days at 86 degrees!

They'll fruit, just be patient. And if you used the exact same strain for both rice and the finch seed cakes, I'd be willing to bet you'll get more mushrooms, and healthier mushrooms from the finch seed cakes.
