Moments of reflection
    #1050157 -

What is this strange phenomena?

Every now and then its like my mind completes a cycle, and I reflect upon the way ive been living in the recent past. This happens like every couple weeks maybe?
I reflect and resolve to better myself accordingly... this usually involves isolating some manner of my behavior and realizing i have to let go of something thats attached to be like a parasite.

These are usually beautiful moments where time seems to stand still. They are sacred to me.
sometimes they are like a slap in the face wake-up call to change my attitude on life.

I get that too... I always feel good when I hit one of those moments, it's a feeling like you have finished something up and are ready to move on to something else... like you have grown or evolved from something. I've always been facinated with the cycle too... it's like moving through things on a different level with new situations, but it's always somewhat familiar. (even though sometimes you don't recognize it until you get to that moment of reflection)

Today I felt good for some reason. I suppose I reflected as well. The day was not too cold and not too hot- just in-between temparature. For some reason, the weather affects me. I think we all need that time every once in a while to just sit down and think as we relax.

Try not to get caught up in all the stress of this world and just live in the moment.

What if everything around you
Isn't quite as it seems?
What if all the world you think you know,
Is an elaborate dream?
And if you look at your reflection,
Is it all you want it to be?

i appreciate those moments, too... and lately i have to say that i have been getting them more frequently... when i was a teenager i had one of those every 2 or 3 months maybe... and now i have them every 2nd week... evolution is accelerating... i wonder if there might come the day where i am in this reflecting state all the time... aware of what i am and where im going every single second of my life... i certainly hope to get there...

Well good to know im not alone here

Did you ever notice when the moments come, everything your looking at seems picture-perfect? like a piece of art. I feel like before I die, all those images will fly through me like a photo- album..
