Was this going on while you had the eating disorder? DId you do anything less severe before the sheers?

hm...
not that i can recall, i was bulimic off and on throughout HS. I think in my case at least as well as other females in there teens years, go through so many changes that they don't know how to deal with there emotions and engage in the "normal" abnormal self harm behavior like eating disorders and cutting (consciously).

but i wasn't in the period where i was sleep cutting.

i also spent some time in Africa in a very rural area where the children were malnourished and the midwives used dull pieces of glass to cut the umbilical cords from the newborns. This resulted in some very unprofessional belly buttons, many were protruding and misshapen which was a health risk to their already ballooned and malnourished bodies.

I guess the images stayed with me but that trip was about a year after my sleeping state of self harm.
