I filled an appointment with a therapist. Hopefully I can get through this without a dependancy on mind altering meds.

Well, I was prescribed....come on try to guess.

Fluoxetine. That's just the fancy way to call prozac.

I've been noticing a little different in the way I rationalize things now that used to bug the shit out of me. I can brush it off a little easier than before.

We'll see how it goes guys. I'll keep giving updates on my progress. Thanks for all the support guys. Im going to win this battle.

After a week....I already feel 100 times better. Mentally, physically and emotionally.

I still have a few odd quirks...but im becoming more aware of them, and I've learned to just desensitize myself to the whole "where has that cart handle been?" phobia.

Going along with the flow now :mushroom2:

A little update...

Its been three or four months now since I went to the doctor's. I've stopped taking my prozac....after many long nights of forgetting to take them and waking up feeling no different.

I must say, my symtoms are all gone now for the most part and I can attribute it to one singular thing.

Marijuana. Ever since I picked it up again...I've been out of the house more, hanging out with my old friends who are greatest people I know, eating at all these ecentric all you can eat buffets....

Well, to sum it up. Pot has helped cure me of this wretched OCD.
