Alright... I'm gonna go all out on the prepping process.. sad thing is I'm all sorts of broke and don't have any more money for xtra jars.. so I decided TUPPERWARE !! Now say I were to put my substrate in a "wide mouthed" tupperware containter... About how long should the damn thing boil since it is about 3 times the size of a 1/2 pint.. and, would this be a wise idea in the first place?

bad idea unless u increase innoc points by same # as volume say 1 pint should have 8 and 2 pints 16 and so on to keep same ratio for mycellium to takeover but still bad idea.
-------------------- Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded. - Abraham Lincoln: Speech in the Illinois House of Representatives, Dec 18, 1840.

3 cup gladware disposable/micorwaveable containers have been used with absolutely no problem, there is no reason why the tupperware wouldn't work. Just increase the innoculation points as previously stated. I would be worried though about water bubbling over the top and drenching your substrate while boiling.
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.
