I can't stand those bands, hardcore noise to me. Everyone these days seems so impressed with those 'breakdowns' , Friends of mine try so hard to make me like it and make me like those breakdowns but I laugh and put on Mors Principium est and jizz my pants with their breakdowns.

It all sounds the same to me, noise.

I used to listen to all kinds of metal, stupid shit like dying fetus, deicide, decapitated, cannibal corpse, Nile etc.

I stopped listening to that

And why should they know them?  Hellfest quit being good after the 2nd one.

I'm pretty sure shit like In Flames, Endeavor, and Earth Crisis all predated and can be credited with creating metalcore.

Edit: I'm pretty sure this is becoming a semantic argument. After searching to me metalcore is what I suppose most would call melodic metalcore (aka not good.)
