now i know there are tons of people who love Metal while they are gettin there buzz on but is there anyone else out there that likes to rock the fuck out to metal while tripping? Anything like black metal, death metal, metalcore, grindcore any of that shit? if so, what bands?

Dimmu Borgir and Old Mans Child make for an intense trip.:evil:

Burzum 's Filosofem is good while tripping.  Also any melodic death metal; Dark Tranquility in particular.  Dimmu Borgir and Opeth are both a must, and Symbolic by Death will consume your soul.

When I used to trip I used to love listening to metal, I always like to listen to metal cause it fucking rules :rockon:

Vio-Lence, Cryptic Slaughter, Death, Coroner, znowhite (chick singing), executer are good tripping metal

death is by far the best band ive listened to tripping.

BLOODBATH!

Strapping Young Lad is fuckin great when I'm tripping.

So is Symphony X, such bright (??) music.

Korpiklaani's instrumentals Shall We Take a Turn and Running With Wolves where really great for a forest trip recently.

Most folk metal is good for it, if your into that kind of music. The Varangian Way album by Turisas is so fuckin' epic to listen to all the way through, the end is a most amazing epiphany as you finish your journey in unison with the Varangians on their way to Holmgard. It's just great. If nothing else at least listen to Milkagard Overture while your stoned, it's SOOOOOOO EPIC!


OOOH! and Vintersorg, Cosmic Genesis is an amazing album.

And dude, if you ever find yourself rocked on 2 caps of Roxy, sitting in the rain at night on the beach of an ocean or lake, have 3 Inches Of Blood's 'Upon The Boiling Sea' parts 1-3 (especially Lord Of The Storm) handy. It's just a great time.
