what do u guys call shrooms...??
If ur from oz, france, spain, sweden, denmark, german, japan, africa.....wherever in the world u r!
I think mushroom in french is champignon.  But what about everywhere else. I mean i'd like to know what
the aussies call them?  and what the japanese word for it is?  and how about dem sexy scandinavians LOL :laugh::D:D

In Australasia we call them shrooms.. funnily enough  :tongue:

You might not believe me, but ironically in Oregon we call them SHROOMS as well!? Damn what a small world, somehow I feel connected, if even in some small way, to you all !!!!!!

uhhhhh-kay.  shrooms r called shrooms  everywhere!!!  And i'd thought it would be different on the other side of the world.  I figure in the land where  they have a word called vegemite, they mite have a certain word  there for MM  ...guess not :smile::):)

Hmmmm...lemmie put it this way. is there an aussie slang for  shroomies.  maybe something like shrum-mate....
I like how aussies talk, but i don know what the fuck they always saying LOL
like six is sex and sex is six.  My head hurts. If i try and talk like an aussie for several minutes, i think i  can experience a mild trip :laugh::):)

in greek it's "manitaria"

but most of the greek shroomerites call them "shrooms";-)

Not really... around here they are called mushies... I hadn't heard the term shrooms until I talked to people from the US.

Greek is called manitaria
Bulgaria is gubi or gabi  (come on here ToaD i didnt say use ur nickname or favorite fetish :smile::laugh::D:))
U.K. is mushies or magic

I know we got many members from different countries and ethnic backgrounds that have a word for magic mushies.
......so lets hear more!

We should also invent a new universal code name for MM. a new slang term.  Any1 has one in mind???
And we could use it as the first words to aliens upon first contact.  LOL

My friends and I call em lots of things.

Shrooms, mushies, zoom, shoom, cubies, psybers (when the trip is electronic in nature), when it's tea we call it "new wine" (from the Bible and is in reference to the mushroom tea/wine Christ made from water), and when the trip is decidely South American in flavour we call it teonanacatl: the flesh o' the gods...

But then, my friends and I are pretty weird and like to talk a lot...

As for Holland: usually the partypeople and newspapers call 'em "PADDO'S" (pad-dose) and the people who hunt Libertycaps (Kaalkopjes = baldy heads) call 'em
"PSILO" (psee-low) My choice is Psilo above all.

This may surprise, perhaps even SHOCK many of you but...
We have a shroom at our house (or mushie or something). It is caramel brown in colour. It is rubbery. Its quite large & fat at the base... I am gonna name it 'killer', I think that would represent its view of itself, if it had one.
