Ive shroomed a couple times, and I was just wondering what are the long term effects of mushroom use.

I've shroomed so many times I can't count them all, and i'm tip top.

Except maybe a better outlook on life (and in some very rare cases a worse outlook), I don't think anythings wrong with them.

I would actually (to go out on a limb here) say that they are the safest drug out there. The only problems are when people go pick them and don't know what they're picking. But thats a problem with supply, not the drug itself.

I've been thinking the same thing lately. Just don't do them everyday (or on a frequent basis) and you should be fine. I mean look at me, i'm just...uh...errr...the colors, the colors... fine 8-)

Yes most people here have good views on the long term effects of shrooms to your mentality and body.

But don't forget these are only people who are fortunate enough to benefit from the drug, it all depends on your individuality..you cannot know until you experience ;)

shrooms have done nothing to me, except help with my artistic and musical creativity and expression ...

Acid has totally fucked with me (no regrets tho). Most of what I have "learned" and found out with acid about life has been very unnerving. I haven't tripped acid in 7 months and I still feel as is I am almost on a perma-trip, in a certain way, as I feel like a totally different person in a totally different world .. nothing is what it used to be (the way i look at everything) and simple things for some reason can appear very scary, odd thoughts enter my head often and I almost sometimes think I'm going insane or schizophrenic etc. .. however I loved acid, and will always love it, despite how it has changed my outlook on everything in life. Sometimes I just look around and realize how beautiful everything is, then seconds later I realize shit like:

How small the world is
We are all just bodies with brains, nothing more
What if I'm going insane and can't do anything about it?
etc

before i go to sleep, when i close my eyes somtimes i see very subtle terrifying visions (more emotionally scary rather than visually, like giant blobs of faded colors that for some reason scare me and feel liek they are taking over my head) just weird shit

but this shouldn't discourage anyone from acid, I believe I'm a rare case, the drug changed me a bit too much, but most people are perfectly fine after acid. just tellin my part

The long term effects are:

-enlightment
-wearing off hypocrisy
-discover of your inner self
-appreciation of art and nature
-respect for life

and many more


Don't do them too often and remember that they are much more than a drug. You can have fun, but if you want to do drugs smoke crack, do coke, e, or heroin.

Shrooms are a learning tool

Take care and listen to them

Ive found that the moer ive shroomed, the more ive enjoyed and felt close to nature and the world... You dont get that with acid...
And, Heavenlyblue, i had some weird tracers for ab out two monthes after a particularly hard trip and i never felt quite the same and a bit like i was 'miles-away' all the time, but when i tripped again, these problems were all resolved for some reason - still feel it a bit, but nowhere as bad...very weird :-)

I cant stand it sometimes.....there's so much of it....and people I know pressure me cause I see through alot more of the bullshit and dont "follow the norm", oh no, sometimes I feel I'm going mad, then I realize that there's so many ignorant (wish they were sorry) sods around.
