What do you all think of smaller and more frequent psychedelic doses for philosophical/spiritual insight?

I like to mix it up. Nothing beats that post high dose feeling but low doses seem better in taking the lessons back to reality, they're not usually a great amount of fun though.

Waste not, want not.

High doses infrequently is what I live by.

I just had one last night, and surprisingly enough, it was pretty intense. :mushroom2:

I find if I dose low I don't get any real ego loss so I end up getting stuck with all of my problems if you like which is very beneficial but the good part doesn't really start till the end when you accept. Although this is darkness and silence tripping and I'm talking about 0.5-1g. High doses it's easy to accept the majority of the time because it makes you so psychedelic little ego or whatever.

Frequent sub threshold is very lovely for me – it provides energy, counteracts allergy, and is great for obsessive creative work, like art, either little drawings or large paintings.

In the meantime, it does not remove me from social accountability; I definitely cut myself off from driving if I take more than a quarter tab of acid, which is what I would declare a vital mental stimulant, but not good for operating machinery.

(some might say - "if you can't drive anyway, then why not go much further?" - but I have a lot of stuff to do in the middle zone, for me this is no waste at all, and since what unravels happens so close to normal consciousness, souvenirs from psychedelic space become that much more comprehensible (to me) when I return to baseline.)

3 or 4 puffs of plain salvia leaf does radical things (no driving for 1/2 hour!!!) but does not give 6 hours of obsessive energy too.

So, you could say I advocate bringing on some of the big spaces (extra psychedelic dimensions), more frequently, at moderate to light impact, so as to keep things humming

I want to get in a sort of habit of dosing. The two worlds seem too black and white these days,  even on moderate doses. I want to bridge them this way maybe also by pushing the common borders of "safety", i.e set and setting.

Ideally, I'd like to take a light dose and try going to school; only I have to worry about transportation, so this probably won't happen. Anyways I am sure you can imagine the vague idea. I typically see a strong premptive focus on high doses and contrived circumstance in general, and so rejecting thig in favor of what seems in my mind to be ritualizing, isolating, and generally sanctifying the experience. This is my own mentality usually, but I am second guessing it. Seems a bit conservative to me. Will just have to see what happens...

To me there is nothing worse than not taking enough. I would rather take too much, if there is such a thing.
