Stop worrying so much.  If it's meant to be - then shit will just fall in to place.  You're supposed to put this much effort in to a relationship once you're ALREADY married and you're fighting to keep it together.

This stage is supposed to be all fun & shit.  Just relax and let it play itself out.  Stressing shit ruins good times.

Quote:
It boiled down to me getting frustrated and I asked what she saw us as (if that makes sense).

Big mistake.  When women used to ask what I felt about our 'relationship', I'd run like hell.

Relationships happen, they're not made.  If you try to force a relationship, it ruins it.  I'd just be friends, and then if something happens, great.  If not, you still have a friend.  Don't push things.  If you push, she'll push back.

Who knows, but part of the fun with relationships is the minor drama. The most drama I have in my life these days is dealing with flatulence from my new vegetarian diet

Well if you like minor drama, just go to the bar on campus that always lets in the <21yr olds - and you'll have tons of GFs in no time!

And ALL of them will give you lots of minor drama :awesome:

Tea, speaking from some recent experience I think I can offer you some advice.

Be honest with her. Next time you guys are alone, or drunk together, tell her that back when you guys were going out that you really wanted to be with her. Make some physical contact with her.

Tell her you think she's incredibly sexy, smart, and the coolest girl you know. Girls love to be flattered.

Also tell her you understand if she just wants to be friends, its a good way to show you respect her, and CARE about her. She'll appreciate it.

Try to make plans to do fun shit with her...like concerts, hiking, whatever. Don't force yourself on her, but just make it clear you that really enjoy being around her.

Hmm...All true things.

But there is definitely a way to be sensitive/understanding while still maintaining assertiveness.

It definitely matters about your personality though. I'm an extremely honest person, and I think I just exude that naturally. But I can also be very intense. I don't mind looking girls in the eye. Sometimes I can seriously just stare at a girl for a while, and then when we talk its as if I've already won over her interest. It almost doesn't matter what I say.

But I think they appreciate my willingness to be upfront about my thoughts and feelings.

The most important part is how you make yourself stand out from all the other guys. Most males have the same mentality as you...

I must be dominant, aggressive, pretend like the girl is nothing to me, act smug and arrogant.

Fucking whatever man. Thats the way most douche bags are, and it works sometimes. But you'd be surprised how much attention you get if you are just REAL with girls, and don't play their games.

Thats being assertive in its own right.

:rofl2: Im not looking for drama, the best drama happens naturally. I also have this problem when i argue with girls. I get this huge shit eating grin on my face for whatever reason. I cant help it, its kinda funny how they are sitting there pissed off, and I look like im fucking on a few pills of ecstasy.

I have no idea what it happens, perhaps in my sub conscious i just dont really care

:rofl2::rofl::lol:

That's JUST what happens to me when I was younger AND still today. When I fought with my parent's I would always smile and laugh at them and they're so pissed at me. Now that they fight me about drugs, and I sit there and smile and laugh at their ignorance... :ilold:

Its obvious that she is interested in some sort of relationship, but im not sure how to "commence it". As the male, i feel kinda obligated to guide this whole scenario in the right direction.

Thoughts? Tips? Pointers?

How about fucking her in the poopchute?
