Wow nice run man, love the BHO.  I do an extraction about once a week.  Can't wait for 4/20, I'll have to whip up a big batch and make some edibles.  I use stainless or glass extraction tubes though, don't know if it's true but I've heard butane can leach unwanted stuff out of PVC.

I run one can of butane through that stainless tube.  I've heard from BHO gurus that you can run less but I haven't.  Yea you just turn the baster large side down and press the butane can down into the adapter in the baster.  I hold it with a oven mit as it get's quite cold.  After all the butane is through the tube I set my pyrex pie plate in a slightly larger pan filled with almost boiling water to act as a hot water bath and speed up the evaporation of the liquid butane.  After all the liquid butane is evaporated I bring it inside and put the pan on the stove on a medium heat.  When the water in the pan starts to simmer I turn the heat off for 5 minutes or so.  I bring the water to a light simmer and kill the heat a few times to purge out any remaining butane, you can see the bubbles form and pop.  I've heard rule of thumb is per every gram of oil in the pie plate it should be on the heat for 30 minutes.  After that I let it cool, scrape and enjoy.

* Always remember to do the initial extraction outside, people have seriously injured themselves doing butane extractions indoors.  If you've ever seen a butane cloud flare up you know how. *
