A syringe with sterile water in it injected down the sides of the colonized cake suck it up and use the myc juice for agar inoculate...whats the scrapping needle on mycelium for?

To loosen some mycelium into the water.

theres a tek for grain jars that rr recomends to make myc water that involves injecting sterile water into a grain jar, shaking then sucking the water back up. Since you cant really shake a pf tek jar you need some way of loosening myc into the water you inject down the water. using the needle while stil in the jar to scrape myc should loosen enough to get a culture

yea veda eventually i may test that, till then all casings and bulk learning for me though.  And yes i run the vicks v400 24/7 and i stabbed a bunch of holes in my gh leaving the coolmist inside for FAE.  At first I was getting a lot of puddling, too much for casings so I stabbed more holes and leave the zipper open a little.  I still mist though and add perlite though because so far its workin.  And why try to fix what aint broken.  I should have pics of my 14+ casings soon I havent let out what I have been working on :smile:
