Those are cool mushrooms, but that isn't their name.  These are Mycena subcaerulea.  Post them at Mushroom Observer if you can and see what they think they are.  Mycena something-or-other.

I can't see any blue either.

Want some paradimethylaminobenzaldehyde so you can test for psilocybin?

no that is bluing, it was late in the day when i took the pics so it might not show up so good, i did not use a flash on most of these pics if at all...i cant remember.

the black is from where i crushed it trying to pick it, i have big hands and that makes picking small mushrooms hard :frown:

only a few of the specimens blued, most near the apex and base of the stipe, but mainly on the areas that were handled.

what is the range for M. amicta?

No, not much odor or taste to these.

NOOBS: I did not eat any of these mushrooms, i only took a small nibble and tasted it then spit it out, never eat unidentified mushrooms even if they bruise blue.

Its been reported from North Carolina and California according to books.google.com.

I guess there are a few bluing species in Mycena section Amictae.

Stjive 1986 found no psilocybin in M. amicta, M. cyanorrhiza, M. peliantnena or M. pura, however psilocybin mushroom expert John Allen reported that Mycena amicta is active.

That is what it says in Paul Stamets Psilocybin mushrooms of the world, Paul says that John has been searching for actives in this genus.
