I don't think I have anything of that form but, I have a homeboy that is ADHD bad he is taking I think 30 35 mg of addys. He is a totally different kid when he does not take his meds and when he does take em.

The most effective treatment around for so called "adhd" is a 15 minute walk in the park.

It's not a disorder, its just an example of neurodiversity.

Nah, the symptoms are definitely real, I'm diagnosed with it. If you knew me, or someone like me you'd understand how very real it is.

However its only an issue when I'm forced to work within the confines a rigid system that has been designed to suit people who are neurologically very different from me. Put me in a typical classroom and I go nuts, its almost like everything just gets dulled down and I cant think. The more I move the clearer my thoughts get. I have the same problem If I try and work with a supervisor who wants to micromanage everything.

On the other hand, set me to work on a project that involves creative thinking, and diligent focused work at my own pace, and I excel. I'll usually get things done faster than other people, I just do it in a different way.

You get these kids couped up in classrooms forced to fight against themselves for 8 hours a day, and then wonder why they're moody and disconnected. The key to solving this so called problem isn't more drugs, or finding a cure, it's accepting that we aren't all the same, or even equal for that matter.


Diversity is something to be celebrated, not corrected.
