Hey, is it too cold for cubies on the carolina coastal areas now? thinking of a hunt this weekend . one of the online guides here say "virtually year-round" for the season. is this only for florida and south georgia?
the guide also says temps btwn 65(F) and 85(F) is best. well, gettin up to 70-75 but down in high 40s-lo 50s. can they still pop up in these temps?
Hello - well i would think that the best chance of finding the mushroom would be to search cow pastures during prime picking conditions and under the correct season also.
Here at the shroomery we have before witnessed from a member claiming to be living in Oklaholma and he presented several photographs of which were dated during the winters second or third frosts of the winter. The speculation of whether or not those photographs (of oddly intense and rubust fruiting) of the Cubensis fruiting in the wilds of Oklaholma, were they in fact authentic?
It mystified me with a sense of doubt, But the Oklahoma Shroomer swore by it and claimed they were authentic,
