my tray won't fruit... send any advice here

i have a tray of 1.5 1/2 pint brf cakes cased with a top 4:1coco/verm layer
the top layer is now fully colonized (full overlay to b precise)
how can i get the pins to form ?

Use the light... From what I've seen, light will put them into the fruiting cycle within a week. All that is necessary is a few hours a day. 2 works for me.

The environmental factors that induce pinning are a reduction in temperature, a reduction in humidity and the introduction of light and fresh air. You can read the FAQ for specifics. If your casing is overlayed then getting it to pin is going to be difficult. Good luck.

All the advice mentioned previously is correct except for the humidity. You want the humidity in ur grow area to be high, 95% for things to go well, u don't want a decrease in humdity to initiate pinning. The optimum conditions are 95% or so to initiate, and then lowered to 85 when the pins form. Don't stress the lowering though, u can get decent results if it stays at 95.
