I've been using eq innoculated grain layered between sterilized cow pies that have been broken up.It works very well.If you need some pies,I can send some also.Just let me know .A good friend of mine owns a shit load of land that has cows on it .He's also got goats and emus.Hmmm I may have to experiment. :]

Okay, i know i'm a lazy ass but if sumbody (Lizard King, St. Stephen, etc.) could send me the cow poop PASTURIZED??? I don't have enuff time to pasturize and dry the shit plus i don't know what i'm gonna tell my room mates. hmm.. i'm willing to pay extra if you wants.. shit, i'd be paying for shipping, grabbin the poop, and cookin it.. damn...

Funny you should asked.

Back in the late 1970s and early 1980s, there were many ads in High Times, High-Life, Flash, Dealer, Rush, Home-Grown, and Head Magazines for individuals selling Grade A steer Manure for anywhere from $20.00 to $50.00 dollars per pound.

What a bunch of rip off people back then.

Well to make my point which is.

Dried manure will not do shit for you in home shrooms.

Of course certain chemicals and/or fertilizzers might,
Psilocybe cubensis and Copelandia species do grow in manure, but usually only in decomposed manure. Tha means that the cow has already shit the turd and the natural metamorphic process of evolution of the spores to mycelium to fruiting body occurs.

And there are also people like Bob HArris (Growing Wild Mushrooms) who sells a pasturizing machine for hay composting. $75.00 and up. Other spore entrepeneurs are also getting ready to offer more elaboprate growing supplies to the already overflowing spore market.

Well dried manure won't be of much help since most of the nutrients have already evaporated into the air.
