Maybe we should state it as: most psychoactive indolamines have a high degree of activety at 5HT receptor sites, whereas some psychoactive phenethylamines have some degree of activity at 5HT receptor sites.

In other words?

"You can bind some of the serotonergics some of the times, but you can't bind all of the catecholaminerics all of the time." :crazy: :grin:

I was simply referring to indolamines and certain phenethylamines. There is, of course, broad range, including cannabis which is active primarily at CB1 receptor sites in the CNS, and CB2 peripherally. Cannabinoid receptors only having been discovered in 1992.
