Why not go uncased... Come on you know you want to!
    #9371873 -

Just take some of this...

and inject it into some of these...

Wait for them to look like this...

Then spawn them to some coir with coffee and wait for them to resemble something like this...

Then put 'em in one of these...

Wait about a week and you'll get all of these...

Come on just think about it...

I like going uncased. It's one less step, less work, and the results with cubes are close to as good and often times better if you aren't a casing master yet...I'm not. I suck.

I am doing just that right now. The KISS method. I spawned some Argentines to straight coir. I put two trays into the FC two days ago. I got another one on it's way which I'll spawn to straight coir tonight and that one will be cased with straight verm so I can get a comparison.

What kind of dehydrators are those?

If you are looking for dehydrators, search for "Beef Jerky Makers" (in the US) or fruit and mushroom dryers or dehydrators anywhere else. The one I bought in Germany is called a "Dörrobstautomat".

Ebay US, look here

I've been on the no casing bandwagon for years now . Must say , I caught some shit for it back then . Nice to see peeps are finally realizing that with cubes on bulk subs a casing layer isn't really needed if you keep the humidity up there .

Slight hijack here...its really common to see uncased Coir but how common is it to be uncased H/Poo? Since Hpoo is slightly more prone to contam over coir.

wbs and rye dont fruit well uncased
they hold very little moisture

In my experience WBS does just fine. You dunk the casing before fruiting it anyway...So, it gets plenty of moisture.

Really?
You're talking about UNCASED wbs?

I fruited coir/wbs uncased in this thread:

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/9257541/an/0/page/0

And even after unwittingly trying my best to sabotage  the grow time and time again, it still came out with beautiful fruits (scroll to the bottom for pictures). I get the impression that casing layers are for when you can't maintain humidity artificially.
