Re: Brainwave syncing and psychedelics

i saw on some thing on tv that music stimulates different parts of your brain and can help you develop awareness of different parts.. i knew that anyway but its good to know it can be proved scientifically. anyways you can alter your brainwaves yourself without the aid of some machine. thats what trippins all about, man. they only use those things for alchoho;ics and people with learning disabilities. if there is nothing wrong with your brain you should alter your consiousness yourself.
peace~

Altering your brainwaves this way is not only for people with disabilities. I tried this a few years ago with sound generated by Cool Edit on a buddys computer which I recorded to a cassette.
I turned off all lights and listened to it lying down in bed with headphones. After a while lying there totally relaxed I felt "light" and at ease.

Of course this is nothing like a trip or high, I was more interested in the effects when combined with a trip, to enhance or alter the experience (if it works).

I tried it while I was on San Pedro cactus. Mine has sound and flashing-light goggles. I felt really dizzy and nauseous immediatly and ran to the toilet because I almost threw up.

music/biaural beat/flashing light goggles & medium dose san pedro tea... interesting mini-trip, nice journeying visual patterns through closed eyelids... "opening inner doorways" event @ the thing in the woods...
