Newbie: No Pressure Cooker

I have no access to a pressure cooker for sterilization. Would a double boiler/vegetable steamer type thing work?

If you are planning on using the PF TEK then a simple pot with a lid will work great

Make sure you keep an eye on it.. do NOT let it run out of water and you should be good to go.. ALSO, if you need to add more water, do NOT put water on the jars themselfs.. they WILL crack.. make the water run down the side of the pot, or away from the jars if adding water is necessary.

yeah make reaaal sure to keep adding water, i had a few crispy black cakes and a stinky ass house from letting all of the water steam away! :grin:
