Yea build a controller that will control a Peltier " thermoelectric" device ,,with the precision your commiting to your standard temp controller ,,, make it simple and make it affordable with regards to what it does and then you have my interest! :-)

See thread on "fridge/cooling"

:-)

Actually Peltier junctions are about the worst possible option in terms of efficiency. If you want to make you hydro bill skyrocket it's great. This unit can also control cooling but most people interested in mycology want heating. BTW have you looked at the cost of peltiers?

Actually, I think a number of people would be interested in cooling also, and having both heating and cooling capabilities in one unit is a bonus.

A cooling unit would be great for attempting to fruit something like azures in a house that's a bit too warm for this.

True enough, but a fan usually works fine for that. To use a peltier for what you are talking about would cost a hell of a lot just in materials.

Fungi Perfecti sells something similar....

The HC201 Humidistat
This is an excellent humidistat for controlling rH, with a 10-94% range with a 3-5% humidity differential

It costs 165$ but work also in 230v 50hz countries.. good for europeans (like me)

Hey man....you must lower the price.... :uploads/hc201.jpg
