actually youre dead wrong.  the second amendment was meant to preserve our right to protect ourselves against enemies, foreign AND domestic.  you need to brush up on your american government history.


I was actually completely joking man.  It pisses me off how people use the "hunting for our food" argument.  I remember my teachers in grade school used to feed that crap to us when we were young and gullible.

Here I was using sarcasm to criticize the people saying that assault weapons should be banned.

Both are lower.

Luckily we don't have the UK's problem, where they've never had guns but they have a problem with knife crime now. And knife crime is worse than gun crime it seems because a gun can be used in a crime without actually shooting anyone, but perps are stabbing people and leaving them to die. Kinda sucks. Anyway the solution in that case is not more guns, or less knives, it's less crime in general. Australia's crime rate is so low we don't have a problem with gun crime or knife crime.

nope. you can believe what you want but the fact is percapita violent crime is higher than the US, how many shootings have there been in australia in the last 12 years? I recall 2 in 2002 in one night... pretty crappy for a no-gun crime country

Massacre, the difference is they do report gun crimes as well
