calling a fertilized egg a person is ridiculous an irrational.  big surprise it's mostly religious people saying it.  if a fertilized egg is a person, why don't we just pop it out right then and there?  let it walk around a bit?

a fertalized egg has the POTENTIAL to be a person.


if you're against abortion let me ask you this;

If a woman has a miscarriage should she be tried for manslaughter or criminal neglect etc?

wouldnt they be infringing on peoples rights by stepping in
and putting an end to it, after all they havent put an end to
the NAACP, the United Negro College Fund or any other of
these organizations that promote racial bias and segregation

That doesn't really make a whole lot of sense, as federal trumps state law. So a state can pass any law it wants, but that doesn't mean it's going to stand in federal court. If say it violates federal law, as segregation in schools would, then no, putting a stop to it wouldn't be infringing on people's rights at all...

so why has the government not put an end to the segregation
at black colleges like morehouse and spelman since obviously
the feds put an end to segregation

I think abortion is properly protected under the ninth myself. Seems a basic human right to me. I'd prefer McCain/Palin over Obama/Biden.
