Indoor Tomato Grow

Hey guys, just got the seeds in the damp paper towel trick to work for the first time:eek:.  Putting the little embryos in little pots of miracle grow.  I only have two, so this is more of an experiment than a tomato factory.  Will be growing in a closet with one western window,
what I was wondering is would 2 40 watt four foot flourescents be overkill here?  dont want to waste money and I still want to produce the end product.
i've searched all over, but all of the grow guides I can find are for larger operations, doesn't seem like anyone wants to take the time to grow just two tomato plants indoors.  I know you guys know what I need to know, thanks,

if your growing bagseed, just plant em straight into the soil

if your growing seed from a vendor, soak them in water for about 4-6 hours, then plant straight into soil



whats the deal with the paper towel method? people swear by it even though they sometimes lose a buncha seedlings due to stress........

yeah the paper towel method sucks.
  and 2 40 watt flouros is waaay underkill.
