Huge Ass Blueing Shroom (No pics, just a story)

Well I was out searching around for magics (have yet to find one... I think) and I came to the road and there were three huge ass mushrooms just sitting there.. So I kicked one over and it went instantly blue, or a deep purple... The cap was tanish, the gills were about the same color, and so was the stalk. The stalk was hollow and the whole mushroom went blue.. Including the outside ring of the gills.. Anyway, these mushrooms must have been 8 inches tall, with a stalk 1 inch in diameter... and the cap must have been 1/2 the size of a dinner plate!!

I'm almost sure they're not magic... but shit it was cool to see. And another neat thing is after awhile there was a red stain that creeped into some spots of the mushroom..

I dunno, maybe it's the death-mushroom of B.C or something. It was found in the forrest. (cedar mostly)

Any ideas of what it could be? Just out of curiosity.

dude.
are you sure the bruising was blue?
what's this about red?
are you sure there were GILLS?
the only large mushrooms besides cubensis that stain blue that i know of are boletus mushrooms. lots of em bruise blu. no magic, no gills.
dunno what to tell you.
please get a camera, or use a scanner.

Thats what I was thinking, Boletes. Did it have a spongy surface where the gills normaly are?
