Strange bluing shroom (PICS)

Sorry for the low quality of the pictures my cam sucks.I live in Houston and I found these growing in my backyard the cap is about an inch wide and you can clearly see the bluing underneath the cap from where I touched it with my fingers to see if it would blue.The cap is a very dark red color and where the gills SHOULD be instead its like a yellow sponge underneath it.As soon as I touch it it become blue in a matter of seconds.I also broke the stem and the cap and they both blued within seconds.I?ve tried to figure out what kinda shroom this is but no luck so far anyone have a clue?

from your discription it sounds like some type of Bolete.maybe a Red Cap....some are edible but not hallucinogenic.......

There are a few Boletes that turn blue, yours is one of them, can't tell which from the pics. All bluing boletes are poisonous.

good thing. They look like boletus sp., many of these are poisonous!
