Methanol should work perfectly fine for extracting psilocybin, I know I've seen that before somewhere. Synth is a bit harder, you'll need a couple things other than methanol. I'll look for a refrence for extracting with methanol. Did it in another window, [url] http://www.lycaeum.org/drugs/Tryptamines/Psilocybian/extract.psilocin [/url] Don't know if that will link or not.... I have a paper here in front of me on synth if you'd like me to scan it. It requires a well equiped lab. Are the pills too big for your wittle throatie if you just powder shrooms and put them in capsules :wink: Just giving ya a hard time. You will still get sick and puke on synth or pure extracted psilocybin. You meaning me, puke meaning on any occasion psilocybin decides to visit my stomach. Hmmm that makes me think, anyone ever taken it IV? Hang on for that ride....

Did that help? or was the only thing gained the beautiful music of fingers on the keyboard, and a wonderful visualization of Moe, strapped to a bed and pumped full of psilocybin.

It sounds as though you guys haven't ever extracted OR synthesized before.

What's with this puking from pure psilocybin?
Funny, it never happened to me. Of course I didn't take it on an empty stomach (that would be stupid- ingesting any pure chemical not naturally found in your body is asking for trouble), I downed it with a glass of milk. I've never even HEARD of anyone getting sick from pure psi.

What's with this IV shit? Psilocybin must first be dephosphorylated (sp?) by enzymes in your stomach. This turns psilocybin into psilocin. Psilocin is what makes you trip. If you wanted to shoot something, you'd have to use psilocin.

Seriously, understand the entire process before you go blabbing your mouth. This site is supposed to stop the spread of misinformation.

Sclorch, have you personally had good luck with methanol extraction? I just re-read the 5000 doses a week psilocybin factory tek which details the extraction. Is this the method you used?
