I always change the plastic in my grow chamber between crops to prevent something like this from happening.

I'd be a happy camper if I could accidentally grow cubensis!

Good work!!!!
I remember us talking about this a few weeks ago. Do you have access to an autoclave? Maybe you'd get less contamination?
Just a thought. Keep it up!

I think they are PES, but since I can't be sure they will be labeled "weed"

Well I fail to understand how a cub could be called a contam, after all isnt fruiting shrooms what we do here? I think its pretty damn cool you wound up with some cubs that didnt require inoculations or incubation! I mean for christ sake you acidentally did what most of try to do.....I do understand that it was not a wanted action but its still cool all the same. Sorry about your Pan. Subs. but hey, atleast it wasnt cobweb mold or some other nasty growth....

pantrop would you be frustrated if you were trying to grow (pan sub) and they started to fruit then they stoped fruiting and later you found out it was because some regular joe cubensis had taken over? dont be silly i would be pissed. but i could never stay mad. he he he! especially at a psilocybe.

Maybe thats what happened originally
with the B+ when there was confusion as to what it was really. Azure or cubensis?

A cubie weed perhaps?

El Greco: Interesting, I had that very same thought. It also occurred to me that the opposite could happen. Such as trying to fruit Ps. zapotecorum for example and assuming the print was mislabeled when cubes popped up.

Well...it just goes to show that mushrooms CAN survive by themselves. Maybe just sprinkling cubensis spores on that type of casing setup would cause cubey mycelium to colonize and fruit Workman? no need for jars.
