The Amsterdam dealers generally want to drag you off in an alley or other empty area so that the police won't see the transaction.  They also like to pair up, with one of the guys spotting for police.  Accept that the dealers like to work in pairs, but don't ever get sandwiched between them.  Also note, that it is good to have your own spotter buddy, for safety in numbers, and because the dealer spotter may lie about police being around, in order to pressure you into a crappy deal.

You should go into an area that is close to many people, but not visible to them.  In other words, Damstraat (the main drag) is right out, but a mostly empty side street (a.k.a. "alley") off of Damstraat in daylight hours is good.  Don't ever get closer than five feet to the guy, and be ready to run in the opposite direction towards a crowd, making lots of noise. 

And jeezus there's like twenty more points where you can get screwed, but that's mostly how not to get stabbed.  Or even better just get your stuff somewhere else.

Well I'm as they say a born Amsterdammer. And i find most people in Amsterdam lame, ignorant and very unfriendly to other people in general. They only smiles you might get are from the people who want your money. Or some who are friendly (they are not all assholes ofcourse).

I moved to Hoorn because of the above. But a lot of Amsterdammers followed me there. But its still pretty much okay. Chill enviroment. Lot of nature and relaxation options. The IJssel meer for example is a great place to sit and do shrooms...

Well this is amsterdam so they'll usually be either white or Turkish etc.

Keep your wits about you, the last guy I heard about trying to buy E on the street in Amsterdam was led up an alley and stood outside an open window. He was just reaching into his pocket for the money when someone reached out from inside the window and stunned him with an iron bar. The last thing he remembers was this turkish guy tap-dancing on his head.
