Someone stole my Jagermeister machine! (but i Stole it back!) should i kick this kids ass or not?

so here is the deal,

i brought my jager machine over to my girls house, and put a bottle in it, and was letting every one drink off of it.

then i went out to a party, and everyone w
as leaving the house, so i unplugged it,

came back later that night, passed out the next morning IT WAS GONE!

so after some very good deductive logic, i walked straight over to this one kids house, walked up his back steps, and saw it sitting in his fucking kitchen, empty. So i barged in there, and stole it back.

an hour later, i decided to go back for some revenge, and got 3 people to come with me to go raid his kitchen, as we were hungry, and wanted somthing to make things even....

but when we got there, the door i had barged in previously was locked, so i knocked on it...

the kid who lived there came to the door and cracked it open.

he said his brother stole the thing...... and it wasnt his fault.

i offered him a chance to make things right, in a completely non threatening way, and he tried to slam the door on my face, however my foot was in the door....

I gave him another chance to make things right, and he personally insulted me...

so that was that, it happened a week ago, and he still has made no attempt to make things right with me. personally, i think that he stole the thing (not his brother) based on the fact that in the past while he was drunk he did the following
-set someones car on fire
- molested my friend (my friend was a guy, and the person that i think stole this is gay.... a very odd situation)

either way, i wouldnt put it past him, and really think that it was him that stole it.....

and i think that if i did not show up at his house and steal it back, i wouldnt have gotten it back.

So thats the situation.....

so im at a cross roads, im going to see the kid again eventually..... and im debating over 2 courses of action.

1, kick his ass
or
2, tell him he can buy me 2 bottles of jager (only one was in the machine but i figure 2 will make up for what he drank and the stealing of the machine) and if he turns this last offer for peace down, kick his ass.

so, what do yall think?
