The right is the not the same right I am talking about. I mean the far, extreme right. Liberatarians. Those are the right I speak of. I have never seen a case of a liberatarian trying to legislate morals.

Republicans while geared a little more towards the ideas I hold dear, as you have said, done little to put this country where I would have it be. Still they have given me more of what I want than the Dems.




Politics and morals are strolling hand and hand, they are inseparable as the tails side of a coin is to a heads side of a coin.

IMO Sending dirty Gay emails to a 16 year old (adult) is not as bad as firing an employee that is paid to be your Mistress...

Right, (age of consent)

Washington, D.C. law defines the age of consent as 16.

I think that's why Foley was never charged with anything.

age of majority determines when someone is an adult, 16 is still
a minor, age of consent can vary from state to state and can
include other factors like the age of the other party, in some
locals it's illegal for someone over the age of majority to have
sex with someone under that age regardless of the age of consent

I'm claiming that in some localities it may be illegal to have gay sex
on some it may be illegal for someone over the age of majority to have sex with someone under the age of majority

Sexual harassment of a minor (still a minor even if over the age of consent) who was a subordinate to Foley is worse than what is happening here. This is still very bad, and an immense abuse of authority, but not to the extent that the Foley thing was.

In the tank for anything with a D before it's name.  As in "DUH".

Foley did absolutely nothing illegal at all.  I'm not sure this asshole did either but he seems to be coming a lot closer than Foley did.  Aside from all that this just continues to highlight two things.
1.  The media are Dem whores
2.  Nobody ever demands any standard of decent behavior from a Democrat.  They know it is pointless.

Just because he was not charged with it does not mean it did not occur.  The page was certainly freaked out enough by his advances that he reported Foley and Foley resigned.

I just read a bit and I guess he was a former Congressional Page, which does damper the severity a bit.

I still stand by the fact that this was more of a big deal to the media due to the age factor, the homosexual factor, and the amazing hypocrisy that Foley showed in his actions versus what he preached.
