Liberty Caps ID Request (UK)

Hello everyone, first post (I guess you must get a lot of newbies this time of year :smile: ) and first time trying my hand at picking. Im based in the south of England, and went hunting on commonland with shortish grass that cows graze on every year. Found a fair few of what I hope to be semilanceatas and/or p. Strictipes and hope to get confirmation on this. The weather has been pretty heavy rain for the last week/longer, and so the ground was very damp. However the weather turned for today and I picked them during high temperatures and blinding hot sunlight. This might go some way to explaining why the textures werent slimey at all as they did seem to be drying out a lot. Also the mushrooms seemed to be very young and fresh, perhaps this might explain their lighter orangy colour. Hope this is enough info to help identify:

Habitat:
Found growing in shortish grass in cow pasture, in southern England (see photo below).


Gills:
Light tan/brown colour, darker than cap. Not attached to stalk. Spores a similar tan/brown colour(see attached pic).


Stem:
Reasonably long in proportion to cap - but no more than 10cm (reflecting the length of grass), same colour as cap, if slightly paler. Very thin, Hollow and quite fragile (splits but doesnt snap easily).


Cap:
Roughly between 1cm to 3cm diameter, tan/brown colour (seem to be getting darker whilst drying), not too slimey texture (but  - as stated above- Id put this down to the high temp and direct sunlight on day of harvest), conical and convex.


(excuse the grubby fingernails!)

Bruising:
No noticeable bruising.

As you can see I got quite a haul:

These are probably a Conocybe species.  Likely to be toxic.

If you don't mind, what traits led you to that conclusion?  I'm not contradicting you I'm trying to learn from you :ooo:

Anything that looks like a Mycena, grows in grass and has a rusty print will probably be a Conocybe. 

Another possibility is something like Galerina vittiformis, but given the habitat its more likely to be Conocybe. 

Now that I look closer at pic # 3 I can see a couple Panaeolus in there too.

I wish people would contradict me more often.  If I went back and looked at my old ID's I bet I could find a ton that are wrong and no one ever noticed.

That was before I got here. :wink:

Side note: I found an ID of my own I misidentified, thanks to a new field guide.  I thought it was just an uncommon mushroom.  It turns out it was rare and a different species.  If I get the chance I'll edit it and fix it tomorrow.
