Any smart computer types here?

Alright, I have a MAC and I want to pull some audio that is only available on a quicktime video into my itunes. Is there any way to do this?

Download videozilla and you can convert to MP3.

Its only a trial, but should be good for at least one rip.

So if you have Yellow Submarine by the Beatles it will be titled something like YellowSubmarine.mp3. Whatever the "._____" is will be the file extension. I don't know if xAct will do what you need because I'm not the most computer literate person either, I just know it does the job to convert .flac (lossless files) to .(insert lossy file type here) so I can upload a CD onto what.cd under a different transcode to boost my ratio (it's easy to sound like I know what I'm talking about when telling someone who doesn't know what there talking about, but I promise what I just said isn't complicated.)

It sounded like he had a video file that runs in quicktime (probably .avi, or .mov) that he wants to rip audio from.

No, it's a short video clip (3:20) that's in Quicktime format on a webpage. I'd like to have it in my itunes and maybe use it in a couple of places, but again, it's a video :shrug:

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I still think xAct might take care of it, but I'm not sure never tried.

I've also never tried what you suggested (because I've never needed it), but as a Mac user both are probably useful programs to have.

Ok, just download a program called Orbit Downloader...Just search for it on yahoo.

Make sure to exit all browsers, and install it. In one of the options if you use netscape or whatever browser be sure to check the box under the exceptions tab.

Open up the webpage, and when you hover your mouse over the video it will say "download"...Click on it, and save it to your library. You can download anything with it...Pretty much anyway.
