Syringe Tek...Did I break my syringe?

Okay, doing a syringe tek, I filled the blank syringe up with 10cc of boiling water, however whenever i move the syringe up or down, water comes out of it from the needle.

what causes this, bad syringe?

What I gather you mean here is that the syringe is leaking. If you are talking about moving the plunger up and down, and the water comes out the needle, well that's pretty much how a syringe is supposed to work. If you do mean that it leaks just my moving and shaking the whole syringe, then you possibly have a loose plunger/bad syringe. A few drops of leakage is normal especially as the boiling water cools and changes the pressure inside the syringe.

it was squirting without me moving the plunger, I think that it had to do with the heat though, im not sure

What size is the needle? This could be somewhat normal if you're using huge needles. I've never tried boiling syringes or using boiling water. I always PC my syringes at 15 lbs. (gets much hotter than boiling water) and have never had problems. This is with both B-D and Terumo brands.

Its BD brand, and a HUGE needle from sporeworks, not sure the actual gauge though

I bet it's a 16g needle. It's normal for that size needle to leak a tiny bit when you shake the syringe. If you're getting a stream of water, there may be some sealing issues with the plunger.

This happens to me all the time. I think it is a heat and pressure thing. Don't sweat it.
