Nice to know you're a real person -- welcome aboard.

The forum is a great place to learn about photography of small stuff, both macro and micro.

I have just now activated your membership.  By the way, membership is needed only for posting, not for reading.  All of our materials are open for public access without registration.

I did take the liberty of clearing out your Signature block.  The forum has a pretty strict policy of avoiding discussion or position statements on controversial subjects outside photography, and religion certainly qualifies. In addition there is a general policy stating that:

Do not use distracting elements. The purpose of our site is to encourage display and discussion of photographic images. This includes aesthetic and technical aspects of the images themselves, the equipment and techniques used to produce them, and the subjects shown in them. Elements that distract from those aspects should be avoided. ... This includes the bodies of posts, signatures, and avatars.

Thanks for the understanding!

For reference, the Signature was:
"Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural & spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things as a meaningful unity"
- Albert Einstein

I am starting to get into photography, I have been interested in video for awhile.
And while that is nice, I am becoming deeply interested in the beauty of  a still shot.
Also, because of my interest in microbiology., I want to learn about taking Micro pictures.
To be honest that's one of the main reasons I would like to join. That and to learn more about photography, as I know very little.
It's mushroom season here now, and I plan on taking millions of shots.  etc etc

It does seem like pretty cool forum though. If you like photos and learning about photography.
