birthing tonight final q's

so i'm birthing tonight and was wondering if there's any thing i should be especially careful of. So i'm kinda looking for a possible do's and don't check list if you would, please....just gotta make sure it don't mess up i mean ....sooo close :smile: :smirk: :grin: :wink: tankz evabody

how does putting the fully colonized cakes in a shoe box plastic container with wet verm on the bottom sound?

Id highly suggest wet perlite on the bottom instead of wet verm.

I recommend removing the dry verm, filling the jars with cold water and sealing them tight. Then put 'em in the fridge for 18 hours before birthing.

do you totally submerge the cake or let the bottom sit in water? wont it break apart? why must it be dunked or is that optional?

won't using tap water possibly contam the cake or is the mycelium al ready strong enough to fight contames?
i've got one thats stuck in the jar and i don't know what to do any suggestions
can you tell my the amount of h2o2 to water i could use to dunk?

was thinking about injecting them with 10 ml from a syring,v would that work well? and any tips or teks? this is in addition to dunking of course.
