Which is more intense? 300mg DMX or 1.7g shrooms?

I've been interested in trying shrooms, and I may have the chance very soon. I have done 10 cor pills (300mg dxm) before I even got stoned for the first time. I had a great time. Second time, roughly same dose, tried to sleep and woke up and puked numerous times as I fell in and out of conciousness. I figured nothing could be much worse but it's scary thinking about how much more frightening stuff morphing around might be. I know they are pretty different catagory of drugs but thats the hardest thing beside MJ i've done. And anyone whos done DXM knows it makes MJ feel like drinking a biggie wendy's ice teas. So if anyone has had experience with DXM and shrooms, which one would be more intsnse? 250-300mg (second/third plateau) DXM, or around half an 1/8th of shrooms? Thanks.

I'd say 1.7 grams of shrooms would be more intense for me than 300 mg dxm........

Secondly if Cor means Coricidin you shouldn't be taking them because they contain potentialy dangerous stuff.... and lastly most people would never get to the third plateau off of a mere 300 mg more like 600 mg.......

I only weigh 135 lbs. and according to descriptions I read, I remember it being high two, low three trip. If half an 1/8th of shrooms is harder than 300mg of dxm, maybe I should rethink trying them. I really want to experience it but I don't know if I will be able to handle it. I have a little bit of agoraphobia, which is a fear of not being able to excape situations which is really holding me back about trying shrooms. Example: Simple 4 hour flight to las vegas turned into a panic attack hell for me. But I don't know if that would apply to drugs and I would rather not find out the hard way. DXM was the most intense thing i've done and it was a blast the first time, second time was hell but I think it was because I fell asleep and woke up during the peak. I had that feeling when you wake up early in the morning for school and feel like s*it and I was tired when I took em anyways. BTW Coriciden is only dangerous in high doses, I dont really think 300mg is a high dose compared to a kid from school who took 30 cor (900mg) to get out of military school and ended up in the hospital bleeding out of his eyes, mouth and nose. Think I should bite the bullet and try em?

1.7g is manageable. I actually have combined 300mg DXM and 1.7g shrooms (about a gram less than I normally take for mild, fun effects) and I blew my head off. It was my only experience with DXM, and probably my last. the wandering around like Dr. thompson on ether was fun, but the sinking into inky blackness during the peak was not. I don't know if that was the dxm, or the synergy of the two, but it definitely wasn't the shrooms. Unless you have a truly unusual brain chemistry, 1.7g of P. Cubensis should be no more psychologically threatening than 300mg of Dxm. It is true though, that when you get up to 4-5g, you can get a nightmarish "I'm trapped here and never going to get out" sensation.

Any low DXM dose can't much compare with shrooms...

If you have trouble handling DXM (which at those low levels, for me, is nothing but enjoyment) you can expect to be scared on shrooms.

Hey, I'd say try 'em anyway. But you might get upset about not being able to stop.

Depends on how potent the shrooms are! One can never guage how strong a mushroom is just by looking at it. Only one way to find out.

Buy the ticket, take the ride. The only way you can ever find out if you're alright with shrooms is to eat them down. Just be sure to low dose if your apt to panic attacks. peace :grin:

Well 300 mg of dxm is more of a drunk/stoned/ slightly trippy kind of feeling while 2 grams of mushies can be very introspective and with no tolerance, will get you really high and confused. For me personally the mushrooms would be more intense and i have done both numerous times. Although dxm and weed is quite the combo and usualy messes me up =P

I would also like to say that 300 mgs of dxm really is not that intense... at all. At least in my book. If you have never done mushrooms before, i can garuntee that 2 grams of shrooms will be better.

edit: im also only around 135lbs so i can relate in that aspect! =P

DXM can be pretty "intense" in its own way, even at that low of a dose imo.

I think 1.7g is a good amount to start with shrooms, just take the time to make sure you have a good environment and are in a settled mindset going in to it. At that dose walking around with music is really nice. So is laying down with blankets and just diving in.

I started with 1.3g so if you are still quite concerned you can start with that. You will get your feet wet :smile:


And please dont do triple c's again, if you are going to try dxm again make sure its something that contains ONLY DXM.

I've taken 300mg of DXM with no effect...

1.7g of shrooms with no tolerance will make me trip a bit, nothing intense though. Still firmly grounded in reality
