If you don't want to take twenty minutes and read the PF TEK, and invest $20.00 for a cheap growing setup then why bother at all? This is just like any hobby it takes a little investment in time and money. Take rock collecting for example, you need to investigate where to find each rock specimen and then spend the time and money to get there plus any equipment to extract the rock. But if you don't want to spend the time and money to do things right then just collect the rocks in your own back yard, but you'll never get anything that is worth any money or looks neat. The same with mushroom cultivation....it takes absolutely no money, time, or know-how to grow green mold (I do it in my freezer all the time). If your going to do it then why not do it right?!?!

You are begging to be banned for being lazy and bothersome. I'm not one to flame newbies, but for you I'll make an exception and I'm sure Anno will back me because he's already threatened to ban you for being lazy and locked your last useless thread. Use the search feature to find examples of all sorts of terrarium setups. Go READ!!! Lazy fuck!!

Let me eplain to you the concept of links in the web.
I give you a link to a page...you click on the link, then another page pops up. This other page might already contain the information you seek, OR there you will find more links. If you read the titles at those other links, and then you click on them, they will take you further towards the information you seek.....

um, not on my board. Anno was right, the PF method is simple and easy, but it sounds like you donot like that method, Ok try this one: Once your cake is fully colonized, take a small rubbermaid container and turn it upside down on its cover. Put 1 inch of damp perlite down on the cover, then the cake. Now replace the container. Give it some light each day and open the container once a day and fan a little bit. Keep it in a 76 degree area. If the sides of the container dry, mist the sides with purified water from a spray bottle. Simple, small, and discreet. Now Im closing this thread because it looks like trouble.bluhoney
