What does it take for you to hit INSTANT RAGE....?

What is it that pushes that :crankey: "INSTANT FUCKING RAGE" :crankey: switch to full throttle in your brain....?

For me, it is getting slapped in the head or face - even if done innocently or jokingly, by ANYONE....
It is very difficult to shut that switch down once it is activated....
There are few things that do this to me....

What is it for you....?

People purposely disrespecting myself, or my friends/family is unacceptable to me. That and getting arrested for something like herb. Total injustice.

Agreed.

I have a bit more tolerance for people disrespecting me personally than I do for people coming after my friends/family. I have a tendency to fly off the handle when people make snide remarks about my mom, for example.

Misogyny tends to piss me off to a disproportionate extent considering I'm male.

i took down a 30-40yr old man who started hitting me cause i wouldnt give him money for beer, outside of a bar.
he rapped my head against the pavement pretty good and punched me a few good ones, his buddy who was with him was like WTF, he got up thinking it was over and i took him down and whooped his ass, my hand and face looked like a football they were so swollen, and his friend just watched kinda like "well thats what u get".
that particular incident is the only real time i would say i got INSTANT RAGE, maybe it was cause i was just walking home from my ex's house, she had just told me that the past 6 months of our relationship was out of pitty, cause she was in love with someone else...
it was enough for me to get pretty worked up :smile:
never made someone bleed so much.

Usually I am very calm however, in the months leading up to the birth of my first child, I was robbed like 5 times in a row by 5 different people (and I'm not talking shady drug robberies, just robberies from "landlords and friends" type people). Anyways I was basically broke by the end of all of it with a new life to support (2 other lives actually) so the last time I just lost it and beat this dude so bad he nearly fucking died. He pulled out a knife and ended up getting stabbed himself. I was just left with a SEVERELY broken hand from beating the shit out of him so much. I never did anything about my hand and the bone is like permanently poking out hardcore. Now I am basically pacifist and I'm a lot more careful about making myself vulnerable to fucked up people that might force me to have to use violence.

What piss's me of is when people argue about something that I know about and they don't.

Eg. A guy called my work the other day, saying he'd like to hire the room with the air-con, I told him there's only fans in the rooms, no air-con. When he replies;
'Oh, you don't know the rooms very well then?'

Arbitrary violence or threats of it really pushes my buttons like nothing else.

ie: "If ______ said anything like that I would curb stomp the fucker!"

I cant see anyone as an adult or respect them if they don't know how to deal with their anger without violence towards others.
