You should read some Dostoevsky or Nietzsche... they're all about powerful visions and divine insight.

I think Nietzsche was kundalini awakened and it made him go insane.

I think you'd like Hunter S. Thompson's books, TOaD. The Rum Diary is a good one if you like burnt-out alcoholics. I know I do.

I also recommend Nietzsche.

Nietzsche was not a Nazi. In fact, he died before the Nazi's were in existence. The Nazi's did attempt to use his writings to justify their cause, however, this was done rather selectively.

carlos castenada's books are fiction, just for your information. i agree with sclorch, read some nietzsche. i like William S. Burroughs, esp. Naked Lunch. Ferdinand Celine's Journey to the End of the Night is good.

Edit: i just read the post about Nietzsche being a nazi. maybe you shouldn't read at all? if you take hear-say as fact and want to get "knowledge" from Carlos Castenda's books. maybe you should just stick to the visual trip.
