Your going to need a gun, not for shooting people in the face, unless they deserve it, but for hunting.  I'm pretty sure anyone would have an easier time shooting an animal than sneaking up on it and beating it in the head with a rock or stick..  and there will always be bad people that will try to shoot you.  so if someone is shooting at you wouldn't you rather shoot back than just sit there and die??

5 pairs of socks
1 8 gig jump drive (?)
1 oz bud
1500 dollars
5 home made knifes
1 home made bow
25 home made arrows
7 condoms
1 home made staff
1 german sheppard


I am constantly adding items.  I have it all in a huge field pack ready to go!  Well minus the bow and arrows and staff and bud.  I'll pick the bud up on my way to the woods!

maybe.  im pretty confident my Ak, sks, remington 7mm mag, mosin nagant and several pistols should be enough.  carrying all of the ammo is going to be the hard part......  :crankey:

Yeah, the ammo. Is the SKS gas piston like the AK? I've been reading about M4 conversions to gas piston and that's obviously the way to go in a shitty end of the world situation.

If doomsday happens money will be useless, agreed with others, cash becomes TP and paper to burn.  Better to stock up on precious metals and drugs for trading like it was done did way back in the old days.  No matter what the situation be people will still need/want rare metals for shit.  In the end though food, clean water/filtration, and weapons/ammo would be the new method of trading until rebuilding begins.

Being realistic raw materials would eventually (hopefully if people can band back together to make communities) become real important like concrete, building supplies, and most important fuel/oil.  Even if the bombs fell or whatever cars, trucks and construction equip would still be around and need fuel and oil.

yep chinese gas piston. solid as a rock.  i love those old russian designs. drag em through the mud, drop em in a river, bludgeon a whole platoon of men to death and the fuckers still fire with little care.  the only thing i dont like is im having a problem with bullets loading smoothly from a banana clip, whether it be composite, steel, 10, 20 or 30 round, every now and then a bullet gets lodged on the way into the chamber.  i need to take it to a gunsmith to see whats up.

i really love my mosin nagant though. for a $50 rifle it has great distance, awesome power and very cheap ammo. definately my first choice to grab in an emergency. also, it is accurate as hell with the original iron sites, as soon as i get the money im going to buy the parts to convert it to the sniper model.  :awesome:

if the world ends, shit happens.  ill go pillage what i can to get by and get the fuck into the mountains.  i know places i know very few other folks have ever seen.

oh and hopefully an address for coaster, im gonna need some grass and some kill shit for sure when it goes down.

are you fucking kidding me?  so now criminals dont have guns?  if guns are cowardly, then so are knives and your fists for that matter.  its just another method of defense, a highly proficient one at that.  why risk your life trying to fight off an attacker wielding a knife, gun or any other weapon face to face when you can take him down before he gets within swinging or stabbing distance, or before he can pull the trigger for that matter?  how about women or physically disabled people?  weapons are not cowardly, they increase your chance of living.

and youre partially right, a gun is too much power for a CRIMINAL to have. not a law abiding citizen who just wants to keep him/herself and their families safe.

paranoia sure is a bitch.  the idea that the world is full of hostile people out to hurt you or your family is statistically wrong.

there are plenty of places in the world where there are roving bands of armed thugs out to hurt and rob people.

i suggest we find a way to ask someone from an area like that, if they feel safer if they have a gun.
