Whats in your Doomsday pack??...

I was over at my friends this weekend and were were talking about what to do when the world goes to shit here soon... i said I'm packing up and going to the woods.  so we started talking about what would you pack to have to live for real in the woods and start a new life type shit..., what would you pack???

heres what all i could think of for mine..

in my pack i would have:

3 pairs of clothes, 1 pair pants/ 1 sweat shirt or light jacket/ 1 t-shirt(i would take the military Cammie's pants and jacket)

4 Pairs heavy socks

2 Good hats, what ever you prefer but should be somewhat practical

1 pair of good shoe/sandals, the ones that cover your toes, if that makes any sense.

2 Towels and washcloths

3 pairs of shorts

3 sets of bootlaces

hygiene kit, with extra toothpaste

collapsible fishing pole, w/ 1 roll line, 1 50 pack of hooks

E Tool (military issue)

Poncho (military issue)

Mosquito netting (military issue)

1 Handmade axe head from a smithy, with handle not attached

1 Sledge hammer head, with handle not attached

Packs of various seeds

500' 550 cord

308 mag. with 3 boxes of shells

AR-15 with 120 rounds & 6 Magazines

Extra Knife w/ sharpening stone

Magnesium fire starter stick w/ flint

First aid kit

Day pack

extra Camel pack Balder

Iso Mat

Sleeping bag w/ gortex shell & waterproof/ compression bag

batteries for flashlight


And on my person i would carry/wear:

1 Set modern issued web gear w/ Mag pouches & first aid kit and a couple extra pouches, 2 canteens w/ canteen cups, butt pack(w/beenie, gloves, work gloves, bandanna, mag lite), K-BAR, 45 colt, and a hatchet/machete one on web gear other on pack

1 set Cammie's(pants and jacket), good boots, pair of shorts, Shirt, Camel pack and hat

I think thats about it.. I'm sure there's more i could think of... but thats the main stuff..  I'm interested to see what other people would take.. try to keep it serious you really have to be able to carry all of your stuff until you could set up a camp/house.

Well anyways, I do have a pack.

It includes:

-water
-ak47
-bullets
-canned food
-photo of ronald reagan
-another ak47
-gas mask
-bayonet
-condoms
-a few spare clothes
-deodorant

cast iron cookware
fork/spoon.

snares/traps
fishing equipment
assortment of knives
tarps and camo netting
folding shovel
of course assortment of clothes/boots/hats
terry cloth
some kind of kindling
a saw
firearm
rope
a nice walking stick/with attachment for survival knife
I would like to have a nice sized water tight container
canteens/camel pack
canoe

fuck it I'm not even close to thinking of all the shit I would want to bring, I'm just tired of typing it all out....that is just off the top of my head (I'm assuming I would have a way to get all that shit out there

as far as my family is concerned, i'm not concerned for my family, they know how to fend for themselves, especially since their death is inevitable just as mine would be. god am i glad i'm not a married man with children. :lol:
