God's existence is inexorably linked with that of language; in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the very concept of God is just an illusion produced by our language.  The question "why does the universe exists?", for example, may not be any more intelligible than "why does 5 equal 5?"  Our language produces many paradoxes such as this, which is why in such an abstract discussion it is important to apply stringent meaning to words.

I think much more is gained though. We just need to recognize language for the rough "telepathy" that it is, and start watching our steps a little more.

I personally think language has limitless potential...it just requires a certain global awareness to work.  Think of all the language that could be gained from psychedelics, if 90% of the population had had an ethneogenic experience.

I believe that the moment you name something, the original intended meaning is morphed to fit the socially-bound expectations of that word -- it's defined meaning, connotations, suitabilities, et cetera... just a belief.

Yeah...that's why the real key is the socially bound expectation.  All words require common experience...if somebody doesn't have the experiences necessary for a word, they just take that word to fit within their paradigm.  If you've never experienced love, then that word simply doesn't mean the same thing to you.

I know what you are getting at you are refering to Terrance Mckenna's idea of visual language.

Totally unrealistic when it comes to communication and probably impossible to teach.
